Recommendations

To help you make the most of your stay in Seville, we've put together some of our favorite restaurants and spots in the city.

If you need more ideas or are looking for recommendations for a specific activity or place, we'll be happy to help. Don't hesitate to reach out!

Restaurants

Traditional Bars and Taverns

  • Casa Moreno – A very authentic spot in the city center for tapas. They also sell excellent local products (wine, cheese, etc.).

  • Bodeguita Romero – Perfect for going with friends, the tapas are delicious.

  • Casa Ricardo – Famous for its croquettes, a must-visit!

  • El Rinconcillo – The oldest restaurant in Seville and one of the most iconic. We recommend going to the ground floor for a beer or wine with some tapas; maybe not ideal for a full meal, as the charm is mainly in the tapas area downstairs.

  • Casa Morales – Another Sevillian classic, perfect for enjoying traditional tapas in a very authentic atmosphere.

  • Casablanca – Great tapas and small plates, very close to the Cathedral and the Giralda.

Modern and Fusion Tapas

  • Ovejas Negras – Tapas with a different twist, very close to the Giralda and the Alcázar. Perfect for a quick, informal stop.

  • El Traga and Mechela Arenal – Two of our favorites. Slightly more modern than traditional taverns, but still maintaining the essence of Sevillian cuisine. Especially El Traga, which we've visited many times.

Restaurants with Views and a Special Touch

  • Río Grande – Ideal if you're looking for a more elegant spot, with good food and beautiful river views.

  • María Trifulca – Also more sophisticated, with a stunning terrace and incredible views. The food is very good.

Activities

Must-See Sights in Seville

  • The Cathedral and La Giralda – The largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the iconic tower offering spectacular views of the city.

  • Real Alcázar – A unique palace with Mudéjar architecture, still used by the Royal Family. Its gardens are stunning.

  • Archivo de Indias – A UNESCO World Heritage site preserving historical documents about the colonization of the Americas.

  • Plaza de España and Parque de María Luisa – A classic spot for walking, taking photos, and enjoying the tiles, canals, and gardens.

  • Torre del Oro – An old defensive tower on the Guadalquivir River, now a maritime museum.

  • Barrio de Santa Cruz – The old Jewish quarter, with narrow, historic streets, perfect for wandering and exploring.

  • Triana – The flamenco and ceramics district par excellence, ideal for strolling along the riverbank and enjoying tapas.

Palaces and Historic Houses

  • Casa de Pilatos – A perfect blend of Renaissance, Mudéjar, and Gothic styles. One of the most beautiful palaces in Seville.

  • Casa Salinas – A well-preserved 16th-century palace house, lesser-known but full of charm.

  • Casa Fabiola – An art museum housing the Mariano Bellver collection, set in a beautiful environment.

  • Palacio de Dueñas – Famous for being the residence of the Duchess of Alba, combining history, art, and beautiful gardens.
